Dashboard Guide

Equa provides two dashboard views: the User Dashboard (your personal overview) and the Organization Dashboard (a summary for each organization you belong to).

User Dashboard

The user dashboard is your personal home screen after logging in. It shows a summary of all your holdings across every organization.

What You See

  • Holdings Overview: A consolidated view of your equity across all organizations, including shareholdings, options, and convertible instruments
  • Organization List: All organizations you belong to, with quick-access links
  • Recent Activity: Latest actions and changes across your organizations
  • Portfolio Value: Estimated value of your combined equity holdings
After logging in, you land on the user dashboard by default. You can return to it at any time by clicking your profile icon or the Equa logo.

Organization Dashboard

When you select an organization, you see the organization-specific dashboard.

What You See

  • Capital Summary: Total authorized shares, outstanding shares, and fully diluted counts
  • Recent Actions: Latest activity within the organization (new members, share issuances, document uploads)
  • Quick Stats: Member count, security type count, pending tasks
  • Equity Breakdown: Visual summary of share distribution by security type

Accessing the Dashboard

  1. Click on an organization from your user dashboard
  2. The organization dashboard loads as the default view
  3. Use the sidebar navigation to access specific features (Cap Table, ESOP, Documents, etc.)

Common Tasks from the Dashboard

From User Dashboard

  • View your total equity across all organizations
  • Switch organizations by clicking on any org card
  • Check pending invitations to new organizations
  • Review recent activity across all your organizations

From Organization Dashboard

  • View recent activity for the organization
  • Navigate to Cap Table to see shareholding details
  • Check tasks that require your attention
  • Access settings for the organization
The organization dashboard updates in real-time as changes are made. Refresh the page if you expect recent changes that aren’t showing.
